Exclusive Menu Items Unveiled at Tim Ho Wan Asia-Pacific Flagship Restaurant at Marina Bay Sands

A firm favourite amongst many “yum cha” goers, Michelin-star Chinese restaurant brand Tim Ho Wan has just unveiled its latest Asia-Pacific flagship restaurant at Marina Bay Sands and introduced five brand-new menu items exclusive to this new outlet.

Tim Ho Wan has made as much of a name for itself for its authentic Hong Kong style dim sum including four heavenly king prized dishes like Steamed Egg Cake, Vermicelli Roll with Pig’s liver, Pan Fried Turnip Cake and Baked Bun with BBQ Pork.

If you’re looking to create a special dim sum night with friends, planning for a business luncheon or corporate dinner, there is three private dining space option available at this new flagship outlet. The all-day dim sum spot also offers a variety of contemporary dishes as well as a curated selection of high quality wines to accompany.

Look out for five special dishes known only to regular customers and its the work of Tim Ho Wan‘s founding Chef Mak Kwai Pui’s off-the-menu creations reserved only for his guests — now these unlisted specialities are no longer a secret, you can get to try them at the Marina Bay Sands location.

Black Truffle and Quail Egg Siew Mail ($10.80)

Chef Mak elevate the humble siew mai to something almighty with this upscale remix of the dish. Each morsel comes with perfect tender quail egg and precious black truffle shavings – what’s not to love!

Premium Crab Roll ($10.80)

Dressed with sweet shredded crab meat, crisp bacon, fragrant onions and wrapped in rice paper, Tim Ho Wan‘s version of spring rolls is slightly different from Vietnamese – but they are traditionally handmade, crispy and crunchy all in one.

Maine Lobster Radish Cake ($19.80)

Pan-Fried Radish Cake is delicious on its own, but it’s another level with stir-fry with premium American lobster which add sweetness and umami flavours to the dish – this one is a must try!

Abalone with Steamed Chicken Nest Buns ($14.80)

A not-so-ordinary pillowy bun made out of fragrant mushrooms, gravy-coated steamed chicken and a juicy abalone crown is an inventive take on the traditional Cantonese Chicken Nest Pau (gai wo bao 鸡窝包). A weird name just makes this dish unique and more delicious.

Bird Nest on Double Boiled Ginger Milk ($11.80)

If you like traditional double-boiled milk pudding dessert, this creamy treat comes with delicate bird’s nest topping – double the ingredients, double the goodness!
