I got to know about Kekito Bakery, an online bakery store founded by Charlene Yang, a 30-year-old marketer turned self-taught baker that creates low-carb, sugarless and flourless baked goods suitable for diabetics and keto lifestyle.

This one diet or lifestyle per se has been stealing headlines across social media and you’ve probably seen rave reviews from celebrities and influencers alike. I won’t bore you with the details of this popular diet trend (you probably already knew), and focus on Kekito Bakery‘s delectable cakes, bread and desserts.

The menu really is a keto-lover’s dream with feel-good options like Yuzu cheesecake, Matcha cheesecake and Blueberry yogurt mousse cake. Most of the bakes are Japanese-inspired, that means you can expect lighter and less sweet baked goods from Kekito Bakery.

Original Rare Cheesecake With Strawberries
$7.50 per slice / $11.50 with ice cream / $46 for 6-inch cake / $79.50 for 8-inch cake

Eating this no-bake Japanese-style rare cheesecake with strawberry is like eating a fluffy cloud. The cheesecake yields a texture more closely resembling a super-creamy panna cotta as it is made with cream cheese, heavy cream and gelatine. It is a little plain flavoured on its own, but thanks to the hazelnut crust base, you get a nutty finish at the end.

Chocolate Rare Cheesecake
$8 per slice / $12 with ice cream / $46 for 6-inch cake / $85 for 8-inch cake

For this chocolatey version of the Japanese-style rare cheesecake, it is oomph up with pure unsweetened cocoa powder and whipped cream. Smooth, creamy and decadent, just enough to describe this no-bake cheesecake. If you have an addiction to anything chocolate, this Chocolate rare cheesecake is going to impress any chocolate lover or cheesecake lover alike.

Yuzu Japanese Cheesecake
$6 per slice / $10 with ice cream / $32 for 6-inch cake / $59.50 for 8-inch cake

The Signature Japanese Yuzu Cotton Cheesecake is made with all-natural ingredients and perfumed with 100% pure Yuzu juice. It is super low in carbs with only 1.3g of net carbs a slice and uses halal ingredients that also has full Keto credentials. This keto-diabetic friendly cheesecake is perfectly moist, light and fluffy, but can be better with a little more punch of zesty Yuzu flavour.

Matcha Japanese Cheesecake
$6 per slice / $10 with ice cream / $32 for 6-inch cake

Also low in carb count and Keto-compliant, this adaptation of the Japanese-style cheesecake is packed with antioxidant-rich Matcha. It is low in glycemic index (GI) and diabetic-friendly, this is a great option for those who wish to indulge their sweet tooth without the guilt or impacting their blood sugar levels.

Blueberry Yoghurt Mousse Cake
$7.50 per slice / $11.50 with ice cream / $42.50 for 6-inch cake

Light, airy, smooth and refreshing, this Blueberry yogurt mousse cake has it all. Made mostly with greek yogurt and heavy cream, the creamy no-bake cake is delightful to look at and delectable to taste, but personally I would love it to have more bursting tartness.

Chocolate, Orange and Earl Grey Teacakes
$15 per loaf (Available online)

It might be a little old-fashioned, but tea loaves make perfect mid-afternoon treats with a lovely cup of tea. The chocolate tea cake is ridiculously moist, decadent yet not overly sweet; while the citrusy orange tea cake tastes lovely as its made with a splash of fresh orange juice. My favourite tea cake would be Earl Grey as it was so fragrant with the tea flavour and complemented with dried lavender flowers.

All the tea loaves are made with low-carb almond flour and natural sugar substitutes, they are also low in glycemic index (GI) and keto-compliant. Each loaf is 4 servings and contains less than 3.5g of net carbs per slice.

Kekito Bakery also offers Bread Rolls ($10 – $18) and Cheese Buns ($12 – $30) on its online store. And of course, they are made with all-natural low carb and keto-compliant ingredients.

Whether you are on a keto diet and lifestyle, cutting back on carbs and that white sweet stuff (sugar), you can still enjoy desserts without compromising your conscience.

All the guiltless treats featured above can be ordered online at Kekito Bakery. Alternatively, you can choose to dine in or takeaway at the following two locations.
