In a world where theme cafes and pop up are the norm, being able to relive your childhood is the best way to bring back those beautiful happy memories. Most of us grew up watching Sesame Street and it would be a lie to say I didn’t know about those cute muppets.
It’s everyone favourite childhood show debuted half a century ago and many kids are so obsessed, especially with that short red flurry monster — Elmo. He’s so famous that he even got its own Elmo’s World segment on Sesame Street. Of course, not forgetting the rest of the gang – like Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, Oscar the Grouch and Grover are just a few of the characters in the Sesame Street universe.
My favourite Sesame Street muppet is the voracious blue monster which helped me realise how much I really love cookies when I was a kid (even until today). Me want cookie, Me eat cookie, Om nom nom nom…..
Now you can meet Elmo and friends from Sesame Street at the newly-transformed Sesame Street-themed cafe. Officially called Kumoya, this well-known cafe has played host to many iconic characters such as Snoopy, My Little Pony, Care Bears, Pusheen and Cinnamonroll.
Make a trip down memory lane and celebrate Sesame Street‘s 50th anniversary at Kumoya Singapore from 26 September to 29 December 2019. This new limited period collaboration and special cafe menu is created by Shirley Wong of Little Miss Bento and the Kumoya team. Expect adorable and eye-catching Sesame Street creations that will take your breathe away.
