The Luxe House, a four-year old luxury spa relocated from Dempsey Hill to its new cosmopolitan city home nestled within The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands offers a host of bespoke treatments and specialist therapies in an opulent cocoon of relaxation.

As you step into The Luxe House, don’t be deceived by the grandeur appearance and thinking that you might have walked into the wrong place. Unlike other spa brands that be likely to take cues from refined Balinese spa decor, The Luxe House have an unusual, out-of-this-world atmosphere and sumptuous design which include an oversized chandelierdark vein marble counter and flooring, custom artwork and lavish plush arm chairs.

It’s a luxurious and intimate space designed to enhance the experience of sheer bliss, pleasure and luxury of this perfectly formed wellness spa in the Marina Bay area.

Beyond the decadent aestheticsThe Luxe House focuses on therapeutic wellness treatment that ranges from head to toe and showcases the best of revered Eastern and Western philosophies. Spa services include Signature foot and body massage; Women’s wellness program; Body scrub services; and premier Facial treatments.

What to book: While there are plenty of treatments on offer, Royal Meridian Foot & Back Therapy (100 mins for $198+) is recommended for tired legs and a feel good fix to your stiff back.

If time allows, add on speciality treatments like Detox Gua Sha ($78+), Luxe Pedi-Care ($88+) or Royal Ear Mining ($78+). The Luxe House‘s service menu also covers a selection of proprietary facial treatments for both genders to enjoy.

In addition, the spa has created five exclusive house blends of different treatment effects, namely; Muscle Tension Blend, Soothing & Relaxing Blend, Jet-lag Reliever & Immunity Booster Blend, Sensitive Skin Blend and lastly Metabolic & Detox Blend.

The Luxe House boasts private therapy rooms, dedicated couple suites, and group treatment rooms suited for families and friends to experience the spa treatment together.

While most spa retreats cater to singles or a pair, this one brings a unique social experience to life, allowing one to entertain your friends and enjoy the relaxing foot massage in a group.

The treatment and experience: Every treatment at The Luxe House is developed in consultation with the wellness specialists and their signature therapies from the Royal Meridian Foot & Back Therapy to Lymphatic Care massage are renowned for their healing quantities and utter relaxation.

Upon arrival, customers will be asked to fill in a physical health questionnaire to determine a suitable therapy for the day. The wellness specialist will draw up a diagnosis and offer advices on specific treatments that will serve your body best.

As my partner didn’t fancied a foot therapy, she skipped the foot massage component of the signature therapy, but was offered a longer session of body care, include an intensive shoulder and back massage with essential oil – complete with a magical touch of hot stone treatment that melted away the tension and stress in both her body and mind.

The 90-minute therapy was slow, indulgent and rejuvenating, one will come away feeling lighter and calmer.

An even bigger draw to The Luxe House are its quick relief services, ideal for the time-poor and the treatment list covers every eventuality, including an express facial, which can be done concurrently with a foot bath or body massage in 30 minutes.
