In-home catering doesn’t have to be filled with boring buffet food or typical local and Asian cuisine. The iconic restaurant Halia at Singapore Botanic Gardens has a catering arm that can bring the best of Halia cuisine to your doorstep.
Known for its modern European cuisine with touches of Asian influences, The Halia Catering spices up your party needs with a delectable range of tastes from home buffets to wedding celebrations, communal feast and sit down dinners.
They also provide corporate catering menus like buffets, seminars and meetings, daily packed meals and cafeteria food services.
Halia catering menu starts from $290 for a five people communal feast to $840 onwards for 30 persons (9 dishes for $28+ per pax) with full buffet set up at your venue — plus an option to add on dishes from the a la carte menu.
Expect exquisite signature dishes like Smoked salmon pate, Lemongrass and Ginger Prawn Salad, Oriental Pulled Duck with Green Tea Soba noodles, Chilli Crab Gratin, and Paper Bag Oven-Baked Seabass Fillet, to name a few.
To celebrate and usher in the prosperous Chinese New Year, Halia has put together a menu of handpicked dishes that serves up to 8 to 10 persons. Priced at $488 for The Halia Prosperity Reunion Feast, you will be treated to an array of mouth-watering dishes catered specially for this festive and auspicious season.
Start off your reunion meal with the Salmon Yu Sheng Salad Platter and toss your way to a prosperous year ahead. Unlike most restaurants where the salmon is usually served raw in the Yu Sheng, Halia’s rendition comes with delectable smoked salmon (top-up $40 for abalone) and a choice of Halia’s Signature Ginger Flower Sauce instead of traditional plum sauce.
Moving on from hearty dishes to wholesome vegetables, indulge in items like Paperbag Imperial Herbal Whole Chicken in fragrant Chinese herbal broth, Steamed Halibut fillet with Leek and Mushrooms in aromatic soy broth, Buttered Cereal Prawns, Braised Sea Cucumber with Abalone, and Sauteed Asparagus with Spring Mushrooms.
Unwrap the lotus leaf to reveal the Steamed Glutinous Rice stuffed with Dried Shrimp and Scallops, Chicken morsels and Spring Mushrooms for a delicious good time. No reunion meal is complete without eating something sweet — the homemade Mango Pomelo Sago dessert with chilled mango fruit and puree, fresh pomelo, sago pearls and cream will help keep things simple and sweet.
If you are planning for a little celebration at home with your family and don’t want the hassle of preparing a feast, Halia catering can always be utilized and lend you a helping hand.
