Paradise Group has unveiled a brand new and innovative concept inspired from Japanese ramen bars featuring umami-loaded prawn broth in its repertoire of noodle dishes.
Named Le Shrimp Ramen, the restaurant is a perfect marriage of Chinese and Japanese culture, offering diners an enjoyable and first-of-its-kind ramen experience.
If you are familiar with Paradise Group‘s variant noodle concept LeNU, the ordering system is pretty identical — Pick your preferred type of broth and choice of noodles that range from Thick Vermicelli to Chinese Ramen and Rice Noodle.
Le Shrimp Ramen offers two kinds of broth — the signature Shrimp broth prepared using different Chinese spices and premium ingredients like fresh sea prawns and pork bones, and the collagen-rich Tonkotsu broth, made from hours of collective simmering pork bones.
The restaurant’s signature noodle dish is made with flavourful shrimp broth soup. The broth is concocted with fresh sea prawns that are baked at a precise temperature of 180°C for 45 minutes, hand-grinded and simmered with premium conpoy for more than eight hours to achieve the concentrated prawn stock. An aromatic blend of spices such as star anise, cinnamon, clove and white peppercorn are added to the luscious stock which gives it a rich, full-bodied flavour with hints of natural sweetness from the sea prawns.
Customers can opt to enjoy the speciality shrimp broth in different variants — like Big Prawns & Braised Pork Ribs Shrimp Ramen ($17.90), Ebiko Prawn Paste Shrimp Ramen ($13.90), Big Prawns Shrimp Ramen ($18.90), Prawn Dumplings Shrimp Ramen ($13.90), and Braised Pork Ribs Shrimp Ramen ($13.90).
The most obvious choice is to order the Le Signature Trio Shrimp Ramen ($19.90), comes with generous servings of fresh big prawns, handmade ebiko prawn paste and succulent prawn dumplings.
