Sands & Sandals Desaru Beach Resort & Spa

P1440720

With a recent makeover and rebranding in March 2017, Sands & Sandals Desaru Beach Resort & Spa (formerly known as Pulai Desaru Resort) is making a splash on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Located in the heart of Desaru at Bandar Penawar Johor, this luxury property offers a more intimate escape for couples than other hotel-resorts nearby.

Getting here is a 45-minutes leisurely drive from Senai International Airport. There are also scheduled ferry trips from Singapore Changi Ferry Terminal and Tanjung Belungkor which takes about 30-minutes by boat, plus another 15-minutes drive to the coastline of Desaru.

No matter how you arrive, bear in mind that the mode of travel between the two states might seem a little exhausted, but still relatively safe. So hunker down and enjoy the journey.

Travel Info: A return ferry ticket cost SGD $39, if you book through http://www.easybook.com/.
