
Bringing French casual dining and comforting cuisine for 10 years now, SAYBONS kicks off its anniversary celebration with a new line up of delectable spread ranging from crepes, soups, breads, salads and escargots.
Leading the kitchen at SAYBONS, Le Cordon Bleu-trained owner and Executive Chef Daphane Loke creates distinct dishes with the freshest of food ingredients using classical French culinary techniques and made prices accessible to everyone.
SAYBONS also provide food catering for private parties and corporate events, including convenient grab-and-go soups, risotto and pasta packs stocked in chillers located at all outlets and kiosks.
The stellar French eatery currently operates three outlets — Plaza Singapura (30-seater), Junction 8 (50-seater) and OUE Downtown (30-seater); two long-standing kiosks at KK Women’s Hospital and ACS International School and a third soon at Mt. Alvernia Hospital.
To celebrate SAYBONS’ 10 years, Chef Daphane has created a “SAYBONS 10th Anniversary Specials” line-up that will be served at all the three outlets from 1 November 2017 to 31 January 2018. Highlights include:
10 Years in Shots ($10) – Ten different soups served in 10 years – Watercress chicken, Red capsicum, Cauliflower, Carrot Coriander, Golden Pumpkin, Potato Leek, Broccoli, Cheddar, Tomato, Seafood Bisque, Wild Mushroom.
French Onion Soup v.10 ($8) – Slow cooked white and yellow onions in beef broth served with French bread and gruyere.
Escargot Gratin with 3 Cheeses ($11 for half dozen) – Garlic, butter and three different cheeses – Blue, Guyere and Gouda, served with French baguette.
Beetroot Crepe with Sous Vide Chicken ($6.90) – Chicken breast seasoned with herbs and spices sous vide at 68 degree celsius.
Rum & Raisin Flambeed Crepe ($9) – Filled with slices of banana, toasted slivers of almond and 18-days Myer rum soaked golden raisins.
On top of its 10th Anniversary Specials, SAYBONS also recently launched a new and upsized menu with wider selection of soups, crepes, galettes, risottos and salads with DIY option.
Norwegian Salmon Aurora Galette ($14.90) – Galette filled with gouda cheese
Beetroot Grilled Grass Fed Sirloin Steak Risotto ($17.90) – 150g medium-well sirloin steak with creamy Beetroot risotto, garnished with snow peas and an egg with truffle salt.
