With a playful mix of races and cultures, Peruvian food is one of the richest and most diverse cuisine in the world. It’s a great joy to see this global gastronomic wonder opening in Singapore.
TONO Cevicheria is Singapore’s first authentic Cevicheria owned by culinary heavyweight Chef Daniel Chavez who also helms the kitchen at OLA Cocina del Mar and have worked under the tutelage of the late great Chef Santi Santamaria.
Located at DUO Galleria at Fraser Street, TONO Cevicheria is one of the first few restaurants opened at the rising new development. The restaurant has a fresh, vibrant decor and at the same time cozy and comfortable. If you are planning a girls’ night or celebrating a special occasion, this place pretty much ticks all the boxes with its lively atmosphere, good service and stellar cuisine.
Start off your meal with Peru’s most popular cocktail — Pisco Sour ($15), concocted with Peruvian brandy, lemon juice, egg white and sugar for a sweet and tangy finish.
For something more classic, try the refreshing Chilcano ($14) cocktail — made with a simple blend of pisco, ginger ale, lime and Amargo bitters.
On the food front, the menu is categorised into different sections — ranging from fresh seafood varietals (Ceviches), Japanese-influenced dishes (Tiraditos) and Peruvian potato starters (Causas), to representative Peruvian sharing plates (Piqueos) and favourite main courses, including a selection of traditional desserts (Postres) and side dishes.

CLASICO ($25) – Market fish, thinly sliced onions, sweet potato, white tiger’s milk, lettuce, coriander, chilli.
NIKKEI ($24) – Raw yellowfin tuna dressed in a nikkei-style tiger’s milk, served with purple potato chips and avocado.
AVOCADO ($22) – Avocado, Mushrooms, Lime Vinaigrette, Heart of Palm, and Sweet Potato Chips
SOLTERITO ($24) – Crispy white fish, potato mash, fava beans, canchitas and feta cheese with tomato and black olive mayo
CHICHARRON ($28) – Crispy pork belly, smoky chilli and Amarillo sauce
JALEA ($34) – Crispy calamari, fish, prawn, octopus, with tapioca chips, salsa criollo, and smoked chilli mayo.
HUAITA ($32) – Slow roasted pork, mint and coriander sauce served with bean stew.
LOMO SALTADO ($40) – Traditional Stir-Fry Beef with Tomatoes, Onions, Coriander and Crispy Potatoes
AGUADITO ($28) – Coriander and Cumin Soup with Crispy Fish, Chicken, Pumpkin and Canchita
