Spain’s most famed pizzeria brand – O Mamma Mia Sapore Italiano arrives in Singapore

An incredibly famous pizzeria is the latest addition to the Singapore restaurant scene – and it is truly something to get excited about.

The most well-known pizzeria brand in Spain, O Mamma Mia Sapore Italiano has opened its first international outlet here, and intends for Singapore to become its gateway to the rest of Asia.

O Mamma Mia Sapore Italiano all set to make its presence felt in Singapore, has successfully launched two outlets last month at Causeway Point (March 16th) and The Clementi Mall (March 24th), and the third outlet at Changi City Point is due to open in May.

The Singapore outpost of O Mamma Mia Sapore Italiano will play out as a casual dining concept with a seating capacity for up to 18 people, and each outlet features a bright, fresh and inviting atmosphere with red furnishings and brick wall accents.

Tradition is something that has always been important to O Mamma Mia.

Meet Mauro Bracci – O Mamma Mia founder Sergio Bracci’s son, who is the current Brand Manager of O Mamma Mia. He is responsible for ensuring the brand remains consistent and showcases the same authenticity across the outlets.

To provide a paragon of taste, O Mamma Mia source premium ingredients from Italy as well as locally. Toppings such as cheeses, Boletus mushrooms and tomatoes are imported from Italy and all the sauces are handmade from scratch and with the freshest ingredients.

O Mamma Mia has been serving authentic Italian slices for the last 45 years. The secret to its perfect pizza is, O Mamma Mia believes, all in the proving: its pizza dough is made in Italy using premium “00” bread flour, extra virgin olive oil and its own sourdough starter, left to rise for over 24 hours before it is flattened by hand to form the unique rectangular base of the pizza.

It is then par-cooked in a special pizza oven at 400 degrees celsius, giving the bases a perfectly fluffy yet firm texture every time. The pizza base is frozen to -40 degree celsius in a sophisticated blast freezer tunnel machine which eliminates the need for any added preservatives and guarantees the same quality of pizza dough for shipping to all of O Mamma Mia outlets in Spain and Singapore.
