Easter Afternoon Tea Experience at Anti:dote – Fairmont Singapore

Anti:dote Lounge — one of the most sought-after afternoon tea venues in Singapore — has unveiled an Easter-themed afternoon tea. Crafted by Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford’s Executive Pastry Chef Sebastien Cocquery-Beraud and the team of chefs at Anti:dote, the festive afternoon tea set is accompanied by choice of coffee or fine TWG tea.

Priced at $50++ per person with an option to have a glass of bubbly at an additional cost of $15 per glass; the seasonal afternoon tea set will be available from 3 to 16 April 2017.

The Easter Afternoon Tea set comes with a choice of amuse bouche – The Chawanmushi Egg served with Black Truffle Espuma Foam or 24-Hour Sous Vide Pork Dumpling.

The weekend (Friday to Sunday) afternoon tea set comes with an additional Easter drink on top of your choice of coffee or tea at $55 per person. Choose from a selection of over 30 types of light/full-bodied as well as exclusive premium blends of TWG tea.

Anti:dote is well-known for presenting its selection of sweet and savoury treats in an exquisite white leather-clad jewellery drawer chest.

A selection of 6 Easter petite desserts comprising Carrot Ginger Macaron, Easter Lollipop, Gianduja Chocolate Nest, Anti:dote Style Breakfast Egg, Caramel Hazelnut and Rhubarb Strawberry Sponge; lie atop the jewellery box. My favourite from this layer is the Gianduja Chocolate Nest.

The top drawer reveals a variety of gourmet savoury treats such as Smoked Salmon Carrot Brioche, Wild Mushroom Duxelle, River Prawn Chilli Blinis, Confit Duck Rilette and Classic Home-Style Chicken Pie. The Confit Duck Rilette stole my heart. The mini Parmesan tart holding the confit duck rillette together is simply divine.

No Easter afternoon tea is complete without the Hot Cross Bun. The second drawer comprises freshly baked traditional hot cross buns and wild berries scones.

The last drawer consists homemade raspberry jam, Devonshire clotted cream and lemon curd for the scones and hot cross buns. Two cute Eater bunny shortbread cookies are included in this drawer too.

There is also an Easter Afternoon Tea set for children at $18++ per child. The afternoon tea set includes Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches, Ham and Cheese Fingers, Egg Mayonnaise Sandwiches, Hot Cross Buns, Wild Berries Scones as well as the 6 Easter petite desserts mentioned above. Comes with a choice of beverage – juice, hot chocolate or milk.
