The final quarter of 2016 and early 2017 sees a host of updates to Singapore-based restaurant chain Paradise Group Holdings.
Paradise Group currently operates over 60 outlets in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Dubai, Philippines and Taiwan.
The company runs a group of restaurant brands include Seafood Paradise, Taste Paradise, Paradise Dynasty, Paradise Teochew, ParaThai, Canton Paradise, LeNu, Paradise Classic, Paradise Hotpot, Beauty in the Pot and a catering arm, One Paradise.
SEAFOOD PARADISE – NEW HOME AT MARINA BAY SANDS
In a nutshell: Established in 2002, Seafood Paradise on Defu Lane was the first restaurant for the Paradise Group. Serving scrumptious seafood for more than a decade, the humble restaurant has moved out of Defu Lane and shifted to its current new home in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands (14 Sept 2016).
The new flagship outlet still does good seafood dishes and Chinese cuisine that tends towards the Singaporean identity. Familiar favourites reign at Seafood Paradise include signatures like Creamy Butter Crab, Singapore Style Chilli Crab and Hot Plate Tofu with Preserved ‘Cai Xin’.
To celebrate its new flagship location, the outlet has introduced new methods of preparation, such as deep-frying fresh flower crabs in a special house blend of spices that includes curry powder, lemongrass and blue ginger, to create an addictive fragrant and crisp dish that is unique to the restaurant.
Must try dishes include: Steamed Seabass with Assam Spicy Sauce, Japanese Pen Shell with Egg White, Crispy Kang Kong with Cuttlefish in homemade Seafood sauce and Executive Chef Tiew Boon Wee’s take on Singapore’s Famous Chilli Crab.

BEAUTY IN THE POT – SECOND OUTLET MORE ACCESSIBLE IN TOWN
In a nutshell: Reputed and loved for its health and beauty hotpot dining experience, Beauty in the Pot offers nourishing soup bases that promise rich flavours coupled with abundant benefits. Guests will be spoilt for choice by the wide variety of fresh ingredients ranging from meat and seafood to vegetables and noodles.
Beauty in the Pot new outlet (The Centrepoint) offerings are more extensive and bigger than the first. It is also closer to town, making it more accessible to diners. The second outlet features a larger capacity with three private dining rooms (2 rooms with individual hotpot), four new soup bases – Vitamin C Tomato Sweet Corn, Herbal Drunken Chicken, Cooling Coconut and Longevity Wild Pine Mushroom, more ingredients selection and a longer operating hour – open daily till 6am.
Guest can opt for single pot, twin pot or quart pot with any selection of broth. Takeaway option is available with a minimum $28 worth of menu ingredients. Alternatively, you can also enjoy Beauty in the Pot home experience via One Paradise Catering.

PARADISE CLASSIC – REBRAND AND REVAMP
In a nutshell: Paradise Classic, formerly known as Paradise Inn is a casual dining concept that offers classic Chinese dishes with a nostalgic taste of Nanyang. As part of the rebranding, all the eight outlets have been given an updated look in a modern way, and the menu will see addition of new dishes along with returning favourites such as Braised tofu with crystal prawns in claypot and Stir-fried pork ribs with bittergourd.
The expanded menu items remain steeped in tradition, offering Nanyang-style cuisine inspired by traditional recipes and cooking style from the South East Asia region. To keep things new and exciting, the chefs at Paradise Classic have also created new culinary delights to capture the hearts of diners.

CANTON PARADISE – LATEST OUTLET AT MARINA BAY SANDS
Canton Paradise sets out to capture the essence of Hong Kong with its offering of nostalgic Cantonese favourites and dim sum as well as an array of roast specialities. The extensive all-day menu offers an affordable selection of Hong Kong classics.
The casual Cantonese teahouse has expanded significantly over the years and recently launched its sixth outlet at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Diners can indulge in authentic Cantonese fare and dim sum at half the price on weekdays from 3pm to 5pm at all Canton Paradise outlets, except on the eve of/and Public Holidays, and not applicable at Alexandra Retail Centre outlet. 50% Promotion available for a limited period.
