Holland Village just got a whole lot sweeter. The makeover for Raffles Holland V, a new lifestyle hub in Holland Village is finally completed. The mall is owned by Raffles Medical Group (RMG) its first property venture, but still play a strong emphasis on its core business – healthcare operations.
The Raffles Holland V mall will see a new RMG medical centre on the entire 5th floor, a DBS branch on the 2nd level, while other tenants in the retail and food & beverage sectors will occupy the remaining units. Residents of Holland Village near and far can look out for new and returning food & beverage offerings like Haakon Superfoods & Juice, Hoshino Coffee, Patissez, Provence, Soup Restaurant and Sushi Tei.
Home of the original Freakshakes™ from Canberra
After taking the world by storm with their Freakshakes™, Australian-based Patissez cafe has opened the first of its two international locations – Singapore and Malaysia. The Singapore Patissez cafe serves up a line of Freakshakes™, coffee and a menu of savoury items such as all day breakfast and freak burgers with prices range between $13 to $25.
Food aside, let’s talk about the internet stardom Freakshakes™. Comes in four different styles and flavours – fudgey chocolate shake Muddy Pat, Nutella & salty pretzels shake Pretzella, mint and chunky chocolate shake Mint Condition and Snickers shake Sneaky Freak.
I tried the Mint Condition ($16) Freakshakes™ featuring a minty chocolate shake topped with chocolate fudge sauce, mint milk crumb, mint chocolate semifredo and a chocolate cookie sandwich. The shake was ridiculously decadent, yet not overly sweet as I expected it to be.
It was a very big year for Patissez in 2015. Will the Singapore Patissez garner as much attention as the Australia’s Patissez cafe? We shall wait to find out and I will be back to conqueur the other Freakshakes™.
