The House Of Robert Timms Debuts A New Look With Its First Major Menu Overhaul

As one of Australia’s oldest and most loved coffee brands, The House Of Robert Timms has been introduced to Singapore and opened its first restaurant at Wheelock Place in 2010. The Aussie bistro has three outlets in Singapore today.

Guided by the down-to-earth spirit of Australia and its commitment to serve quality, wholesome cuisine using only the freshest Australian ingredients, the bistro has recently revamped the menu with a variety of new dishes in a reorganised format that is more stylish and simpler to navigate.

The menu categories have all been updated and the new look marks the first major menu overhaul in six years – showcasing a selection of all-day breakfast, salads and soup, sandwiches, wraps and burgers, grill from the flame, pastas, light bites and desserts.

The new dishes are simpler and have fewer ingredients, all of which means correct preparation and the freshest possible ingredients are imperative.

The House of Robert Timms’ answer to all-day breakfast is by uniting more classically  prepared cuisine like steak and eggs, fluffy pancake stack, granola and berries.

Salad and soup lovers can find their favourite dishes and discover new ones such as the Organic red quinoa ($16) complete with avocado, blueberries, cherry tomatoes, toasted almonds, cranberries, baby spinach, romaine lettuce, arugula and citrus vinaigrette.

Chicken, beef, seafood and pork land under the category of sandwiches, wraps and burgers, from the flame and pastas. New entrees and perennial favourites include Crispy Fish Sandwich ($19.80), Robert Timms’ House Sandwich ($21), Robert Timms’ Fish and Chips ($25.50), and Aussie Baby Ribs ($28).

The revamped menu also features a new category of appetisers named Lite Bites – French fries ($11), Deep fried calamari ($15), Deep fried oysters ($13.80) and Garlic bread ($6) have their own spot along with new choices that include Sauteed mushrooms ($9) and Chicken Wings with smoked caramelised bell pepper sauce and cabbage slaw ($12).

Milkshake die-hards have another reason to rejoice as the Aussie bistro also serves trendy Over The Top Milkshakes ($16). Those who prefer a little more conventional may want to try the signature Sticky Date Pudding ($14), or the Upside Apple Tart ($10), both accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
