Mo’Mor a bar and eatery with a contemporary izakaya concept is designed to deliver well-crafted dishes in an upbeat and untraditional way. The menu fuses European and Japanese influences with Izakaya favourites curated by seasoned veteran Chef Martin Woo.

Nestled in the cozy enclave of Tanglin, Mo’Mor Izakaya is an ideal destination where you can drop in for a cup of coffee, refresh yourself with an afterwork beer, or catch up with friends over a cocktail and a couple of tasty sharing plates.

Mo’Mor combines the fun vibrancy of the izakaya concept with a certain level of sophistication. The restaurant boasts a choice of seating arrangements from indoor to alfresco settings.

Chef Martin Woo brings over 30 years of culinary experience to Mo’Mor and has developed a colourful menu of exquisite gourmet dishes that will tempt every palate. Mo’mor specialises in tapas and grilled plates, using premium-grade and fresh ingredients procured from Swiss Butchery, one of Singapore’s pioneering premium butchers that began in 1994.

Had the opportunity to try a range of communal-style tapas and mains such as fresh Oysters with citrus jelly, Hokkaido scallops with Ikura, Botan Ebi, Sword Fish belly, Black Angus Ribeye and more. The dishes were impeccably presented and celebrated the interplay of texture and mouth-watering flavours.

I am in love with the twist on Swordfish Belly Crudo Style which boasts an unique balance of sweetness and tang from the grapefruit, ponzu and garlic chips. The scallops and ikura were light clouds of joy.

From the grill, the Hamachi collar and Saikyo Miso Chicken were perfectly cooked, and the Black Angus Beef was succulent and juicy, except for some sections – the muscle fibre in the meat wasn’t broken down and had a chewy texture.

Set Lunches (2-course $15, 3-course $18)

Don’t miss out the amazing set lunches priced affordably at $15 for a two-course meal consisting of a main and a choice of tapas or dessert. For the best deal, opt for the three-course meal which allows you to pick your choice of tapas, main and dessert.

The lunch menu changes weekly to give you a variety of meal choices and surprises. Another good news is that the set lunches are available every day – including weekends.
