The latest addition to the hotpot bandwagon is Captain K Seafood Tower, a new Korean-inspired seafood concept located along Prinsep Street, presenting fresh variety of delectable seafood in multi-layered tiers.
What’s unique about Captain K Seafood Tower is that food is served in a hotpot tower stacked with nine layers of steamers.
The ingredients for the nine-tiered hotpot are fixed which typically include prawns, clams, mussels, scallops and a choice of soup base – Kombu Dashi, Korean Kimchi and Premium Korean Ginseng Chicken (add $15.00) at the bottom tier of the steamer to catch all the briny tang dripping from the seafood.
The variety of seafood and crustacean may varies according to the catch of the day and availability.

The nine-tier seafood tower ($288.90) feeds about 8 person comfortably. Customers may add on a la carte seafood (by weight), including small plate items such as shabu shabu, luncheon meat, mushroom and ramyeon. Prices for each coloured plate start from $2 to $4.
Captain K Seafood Tower caters to small groups as well, so that everyone can enjoy the gastronomic seafood delight. A two-person feast ($52.90) comes in 3 tiers with a mix of seafood (5 varieties) and a choice of soup base. A four to six person meal comes in 5 and 7 tiers priced at $98.90 and $188.90 respectively.
The seafood tower is available only for dinner. The restaurant offers steamboat buffet for lunch (Monday to Friday $14.90 per person for 60 minutes; Weekend $20.90 per person), however if you wish to try the seafood tower at lunch, it is recommended that you call the restaurant to check for availability. Reservations is strongly recommended.
