Emporium Shokuhin – Singapore’s First Mega Japanese Food Emporium

Emporium Shokuhin is Singaporeans’ one-stop gateway to a Japanese paradise of live seafood, deli meats, grocer food and eight unique dining concepts. Specially integrated all in one location at Marina Square’s new retail wing, the 34,000 square ft mega Japanese emporium features a gourmet grocer section and a seafood market with live and chilled seafood imported directly from Japan, U.S.A., Australia and Europe.

The specially constructed sea water tanks at the live seafood market showcases a wide variety of live crustaceans, fishes and shellfishes like Alaskan King Crabs, Boston Lobsters, Dungeness Crabs, Abalones, Flounders and more. Customers can stop by the meat section and bring home superbly tender dry-aged prime beef and other premium beef cuts such as the A5 Miyazaki Beef that is directly imported from Japan and aged by the beef specialists within the customised facility.

Japan-imported seasonal fresh fruits, vegetables, condiments and snacks are also available along the aisles of the gourmet grocer. A ready-to-eat section (one of the eight dining concepts) at the gourmet grocer is great for a quick take-away meal for the busy working executives.

Emporium Shokuhin is an epicurean destination for both Japanese casual and semi-fine dining. Slurp up a comforting bowl of ramen at Burosu Honten, or enjoy a personal Shabu-Shabu hotpot with a wide selection of seafood and premium meats at Tsukeru.

Sushi lovers would do well to check out the Senmi Sushi, as we heard that the signature Giant Chirashi and Super California Maki are packed with flavours and must-order here. Looking for something more premium, Takujo offers a good option with its intimate setting and is the first in Singapore to offer its guests live seafood trolley.

Savour freshly shucked oysters and signature seafood platters at Umi + Vino Seafood Wine Bar, or take a bite at the tender and flavourful grilled meats at Gyuu+. Need a caffeine fix? You can enjoy a cup of handcrafted coffee with freshly baked Japanese-style pastries at the Kohi-Koji Cafe & Bakery.
