BRIZO celebrates Singapore’s jubilee year with nostalgia “Taste of Singapura” Buffet

Following the success of the Crazier About Crabs Dinner Buffet, Brizo Restaurant & Bar at Park Hotel Clarke Quay joins in the celebration of the nation’s 50th birthday with the launch of a nostalgia Singapore seafood and local dinner buffet “Taste of Singapura” from 1 July to 30 September 2015.
 
Available every Wednesday to Sunday evenings, diners can crustacean treasures such as Alaskan king crab legs, Chilean scallops, Canadian whelks, Canadian oysters, tiger prawns and more, as well as a selection of mouth-watering Singaporean inspired fare include – Salted Egg Clayfish, Indian-spiced Fish Head Curry, Wok-fried la-la clams in bean paste, Butter Prawns with curry leaves, Har Cheong Gai (Prawn Paste Chicken) and Kam Heong Sotong (Squid in Fragrant Curry Sauce).
 
Crab connoisseurs will have their cravings sated with “all-you-can-eat” dishes like the Black Pepper Crab and Singapore-style Chilli Crab, together with fresh seafood catch on ice and salmon sashimi to start the meal.
 

A local selection of appetisers such as Indonesian style Gado-Gado, Marinated Jelly Fish with Oyster Sauce and sesame, Satay with condiments, Deep-fried Ngoh Hiang (five spices roll), Shrimp wanton and Kong Bak Pau (braised pork belly bun) would give you plenty of reasons for seconds and thirds.

The buffet line-up also consists of a salad bar, a D.I.Y. noodle station featuring Prawn Laksa, Tom Yam Seafood Noodle and Singapore-style Curry Prawn Noodle, and a carving station with flavoursome items like the chef’s signature Baked Red Snapper in Sambal Chilli and Roasted Angus Striploin with Pepper & Herbs Crust (rotational basis). 

Expect a complimentary platter of local appetisers such as otak-otakkueh pie teeepok epos and Indian samosa brought to your table for enjoyment.

Not to be missed are the assortment of desserts – Durian Pengat, Nonya Kueh, Kueh Lapis, Chilled Pumpkin with Sago & Gula Melaka, Yam Paste and more that are sure to hit the sweet spot.

The “Taste of Singapura” Dinner Buffet is available from 1 July to 30 September 2015, from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.
